Abstract

In this document, the breakdown of the inverter is analyzed and it is characterized by areas in such a way that the key elements that could be diagnosed, measured or compared can be recognized in order to understand the operation and propose an accurate diagnosis of the inverter of a Toyota. Prius 3G year 2010, among the most striking elements are the integrated circuits found, which control the power IGBTs, which convert Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (CC), or vice versa, the capacitors in the inverter casing They are perhaps the key pieces at the time of voltage inversion, to all the assemblies, transistors, chips their characteristics and characteristic values of operation are described, after them diagnostic alternatives are proposed, from which diagnosis by image is selected reaching demonstrate that the transistors of the CC/CC stage are affected, the applied methodology turns out to be useful, providing clear and easy-to-interpret results.
