    PREFACE

    The fifth edition of the scientific journal TECH Carlos Cisneros represents a further step in the institution's commitment to promoting high-quality, multidisciplinary research and the dissemination of knowledge with social impact. We are pleased to highlight that the journal continues to be indexed in the LatIndex 2.0 academic information system, a distinction that reaffirms its adherence to rigorous editorial standards and strengthens the visibility of published works. This indexing is a fundamental element that projects the journal onto local, national, and international stages, allowing the research results disseminated here to reach diverse scientific communities and extend their reach beyond the institutional sphere. The multidisciplinary nature of TECH Carlos Cisneros is once again evident in the thematic variety of contributions selected for this edition.     PREFACE

    It is with deep satisfaction and pride that we present the fourth edition of the open science outreach journal TECH Carlos Cisneros. This issue marks an important milestone in our trajectory: the inclusion of our journal in the prestigious academic database LatIndex 2.0. This achievement not only recognizes the hard work of the editorial and scientific team that makes up this publication, but also reinforces our projection at the local, national and international levels. The indexing underlines the journal's commitment to the highest standards of editorial quality and academic rigor.
    Since its inception, the TECH Journal has aimed to contribute significantly to the advancement of scientific research and technological development. Our focus has been on promoting innovation and exploring the tangible impacts that research has on the solution of social and industrial problems. This commitment has allowed the journal to consolidate itself as an open forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge that address contemporary challenges with scientific rigor, quality and creativity.
    In this fourth edition, we are proud to present a selection of 12 research articles covering a wide variety of lines of study.     Prefacio

    El Instituto Superior Universitario Carlos Cisneros dentro de sus líneas de acción orientada al ámbito de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación a través de su coordinación y plan operativo, establece actividades académicas de divulgación científica que permita difundir y comunicar los avances científicos y tecnológicos de manera que se acerque la ciencia a la sociedad y se fomente interés por la misma, promoviendo el diálogo entre docentes investigadores, estudiantes y público en general.   En este sentido, se tiene como objetivo dentro de la planificación de actividades de la Coordinación de Investigación el desarrollo del primer congreso de ciencia y tecnologías que permita al ISU Carlos Cisneros visibilizar su trabajo investigativo y de innovación tecnológica, así como también extender una cordial invitación a toda la comunidad científica a participar de este evento. Teniendo presente que los congresos de divulgación científica son espacios ideales para fomentar y establecer conexiones entre investigadores, presentar temas científicos de manera accesible y comprensible a un público no especializado y abordar cuestiones de ciencia y tecnología de relevancia social en diversos campos.

    El Primer Congreso Internacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CICT2023), se desarrolló del 22 al 24 de noviembre, 2023 en la ciudad de Riobamba, Ecuador. Es el primer evento de divulgación científica desarrollado por el Instituto Tecnológico Superior Universitario Carlos Cisneros, en el cual se abordó diferentes líneas de investigación que permitió discutir avances y desarrollo tecnológico en diversas áreas.

    Por medio de la presente se establece un agradecimiento a todos los miembros del Comité del Programa Técnico CICT2023, así como también a todos los revisores. La realización del evento con estándares de alta calidad no podría haber sido realizado sin todo el esfuerzo puesto para su desarrollo. De la misma manera se agradece a todos los autores quienes han dedicado mucho tiempo en sus investigaciones y que con los resultados de las mismas han contribuido con la presentación de trabajos de muy alta calidad y de interés para toda la comunidad académica.

    The magazine Tech Carlos Cisneros, has been developed with the purpose of creating a space for technical and scientific dissemination, where teachers and students from different institutions of higher education contribute to the publication of each edition of the multidisciplinary journal.

    Dear readers, in this third edition we are pleased to publish 6 articles, which report new knowledge, with local and national relevance in different disciplines. We hope that this edition will continue to promote reader participation in our publications and that your articles will be of reference in future studies.

    We cordially invite our readers and researchers to publish the results of their research in the TECH Carlos Cisneros journal. We also invite the academic and scientific community to read this third edition, which shows the efforts of the editorial team to increase the scope of dissemination and impact of the research of our authors. In addition, we extend our thanks to the peer reviewers who have contributed to the selection and refinement of the papers presented in this edition.
