Publication process

Each call for papers will establish a schedule of activities to be developed, establishing two stages: 1) Call for papers and reception of articles in the journal's platform, and 2) Review, Acceptance, Layout and Publication. The first stage will have a period of 120 days (four months) from the call for papers to the new edition. The article should be sent in PDF format using the WORD template provided by the journal. Once the manuscript is received, it will undergo a first review by the Editorial Board to verify compliance with editorial standards, and the article will be submitted to the anti-plagiarism tool to determine its acceptance for evaluation. Once the first stage is completed, the article is sent to a double-blind peer review by external reviewers (maximum four weeks). The reviewers will send their review and decision in the format established by the journal, which can be accepted, accepted with modifications (minor or major) or rejected. The results of the peer review will be shared with the authors of the article, including comments, evaluation, modifications, among others. If the article is accepted, it goes to the editing and layout process. If the article is accepted with minor changes, it will be resent to the author/s to correct such changes. If the author/s have made the required minor changes, ascertained by the editorial board, it will go to the editing and layout process. If the article is accepted with major changes, it will be resent to the author(s) to correct such changes, so that the article will pass again to double-blind peer review. If the author/s have made the required major changes, as confirmed by the new peer reviewers' report, it will go to the editing and layout process. If the article is rejected by both reviewers, it will be returned to the author, explaining the reasons. In all cases, the editor of the journal, based on the information provided by the peer reviewers, will have the last word on the acceptance or rejection of the article. The article selection process, starting from the double-blind peer review, should not exceed four months (120 days).
